Tragedy

Puppeteer

Puppeteer

She, my puppeteer she fills me with fear.

She pulls my strings just to remind me she’s near.

She commanders my heart just so she can break it apart she plants her false sense of a fresh start but only to watch me wither and fall apart.

She wraps her strings around my heart she plays it smart by setting herself apart.

It’s like she’s playing emotional martial arts I try to block her from my heart but it’s like she always has a headstart.

It’s like she gets off on watching my bleeding heart.

She waits till I snap apart then she uses my anger against me like a Defensive start.

She, my running back just to score an attack. It’s like an emotional hijack she just plays along It’s like she has no sense of right or wrong she just sings her beautiful song.

As I sing along. It’s like being at war with each other she’s my Vietcong.

She just monkeys around like some emotional donkey Kong.

I can never run off for too long because with my strings she just leads me along.

She is my constant reminder of why I feel so dead and gone
