Tragedy

Nobody is listening

Nobody is listening

2 mins

When the sun goes down,

The sky is grey,

I perch myself upon the window sill,

To draw the unrestrained birds,

Like their free wings.

I let my sanity wander off away to dark shadow's castle swings,

The guards ignore me,

As if they can't sense me.

The sky cries

I take my chance and escape into the king's chamber.

And then jump into the void full of darkness, at least that's what I tell myself.

For I have been kept in the dark too much,

I forgot how to feel.

People say that I am a nobody,

Who lets the bullets hit its heart,

Without a worry of an unfamiliar feeling of the spark of hope.

The plants die,

The forests allow the fire to kill it,

The sun is now trapped behind the clouds,

Never ever to be seen again.

The sky around me breaks open to dark memories

That is what I think I should feel but;

For I have been kept in the dark too much,

I forgot how to feel.

No eagles catch my muffled cries or my despondent smile,

Since I am never treated right,

I don't ask for much,

Or nothing at all.

Because I know that the rose petals will soon fall,

The happiness will fade away,

As if it never existed

The colours will then go back to black and white,

Suddenly I am blind.

For I have been kept in the dark too much,

I forgot how to feel.

It's like my past,

Broken beaks and dead birds,

I couldn't see behind the glass,

Unless there was something burning bright behind.

I am well known to be the one,

The one who is always trapped in its mind,

I have tried to achieve perfection with both hands, but no such luck.

I am lost in this ruinous world,

Someone come and help me,

Because I am now shedding diamond tears,

Afraid of the surrounding,

 sleeping beneath my bed covers,

hidden from everyone's uncivil and evil view.

I'd rather face all the lies and illusions,

Then got out and be an average human,

For I have been kept in the dark too much,

I forgot how to feel.

I waited too long

My time is up,

Now I am in the dark ghastly,

Where nobody is listening.
