Proud To Be An Indian

Waves of sea erupt in joy to celebrate its day

Every atom of my being invigorated to celebrate Independence Day

Salute to our brave soldiers for their valour

Respect to our freedom fighters for their patriotic fervour

They are always at the forefront to curb injustice

There is no substitution for their sacrifice

Our collective energy has its say

To keep the enemies at bay

Tears of joy peek to behold the national flag

Patriotism spills into our sacred bag

The collective power of our heroes

Can decimate the heaps of miseries inflicted by the enemies.

Those who try to create a divide

Are torn apart from inside

We take pride to stay in the land of peace

Traitors have no space in this place 

Our country proclaims unity in diversity

No one can break our collective unity

If there is no harm to our security

It is because of those at the borders who work with alacrity

Take a bow to the achievers of this country

They have indeed breathed life into our country

Our national anthem lingers in our ears

To inject us with courage and erase all fears
