Prayer to The Supreme Buddha

In a world full of atrocities, violence and suffering,

Where hate is widespread and humanity is in danger,

Where the ice melts, the forests burn, the bells of destruction is ringing,

I bow and pray to thee, and take refuge at your feet, O Buddha:

May the world be rid of all physical and mental suffering,

May the world be rid of violence and hatred between its inhabitants,

May the world revert to its original state of Natural beauty,

May all creatures and plants live in harmony with humans,

May all the creatures, plants and humans lead their lives happily.
