Pink

Never was there a colour invented so polarising as the colour pink 

Boys don't dare to touch it, because after all, what would people think 

It makes for delicious fruits, desserts, and even drinks 

But if a man dares to enjoy any of those, he will be made fun of with subtle winks 

It indicates weakness and femininity 

Sometimes liking it is even mistaken for immaturity 

Why must anything associated with femininity be associated with ridicule and weakness 

When we know that femininity can also be tough, can also mean strength 

A colour is a colour when it boils down to it, and it's not meant for a gender 

When it comes to colours and ridiculous symbolism, pink is the highest contender 

I have always loved strawberries and pink flavoured things, pink coloured items 

And I have been made fun of for daring to sport them, and like them 

But I do not care, I am not ashamed of being a feminine stereotype 

Because I see strength in women, and I don't believe we can be condensed into a prototype

I like strawberry wine, and flamingo pink walls in my living room 

But if you wanna stereotype me based on that, I'd urge you not to assume
