The adult life is a curious game

That we all must play to the end

Never wish for the elder persuasion 

Before you complete every other stage

In childhood, we think everything is amazing

And little wishes feed imaginative dreams

The days seem longer as you long for

Change it will all soon come your way.

As you know the teenage years can be hard

You want all the clothes the fast flashy car

But you have got to be patient and wait your turn

Never try to rush it when you are still young

Education is what you should strive for

Learn about living and how you can nourish

The mind so you are ready to tame the soul

Because when you get older it can be a struggle

You need to know where you came from

In order to know where you're heading

Otherwise, life can be a merry go round 

It has been known to mix up and muddle

Friendships may easily come and often go sour

So don't be perturbed if you lose your footing

Just keep your feet on the steady ground

And new friends will spring up and come around

Love is a crazy confusing emotion 

That can grab hold without any caution

When you find your's you will know

In a heartbeat, this love will flourish and grow

When you settle down and look around

You will know that you have just arrived

Don't run away from your amazing life

Tame it and take your precious time

Find someone who relates to you 

And loves you for who you really are

In this life, it will take you to places 

You would never imagine could go so far

Family is everything to almost everybody

These loving people will help you along the way

Unconditionally showering you with love

As each member grows on their own

When you have children you will feel it inside

This totally brilliant occasion makes you feel alive

With the happiness that is in such abundance 

You will do anything to keep them safe and sound

Health is a major factor that seriously matters

Don't ever let your's derail or go unchecked

Because in an instant you may lose your's 

And wonder why you are feeling this way

So eat well and sleep well and joyfully exercise 

This will keep your string and on your feet

So you can go through this life in your stride

And prosper in love and in life as a whole.

Always remember to set yourself goals

But don't stress out or pressure yourself

Everything will come to you in time

Just take each day that is on the horizon.

As far as you can and always have fun as you run

Through the stages until you complete every turn

That comes along the road that you take
