Past Tense

It's been a long time
Since the moment we were gone,
Fragile years have passed along
Sedimenting the love that was born.
The lush vales having changed,
To observe them causes pain,
I know it's not sane
But, wish I could relive those moments again.
Now that everyone's gone,
To places unknown, god knows where,
I'm standing at the crossroad
Where dilemmas do dwell,
Unsure of the path I take
Destiny I must choose for own sake,
Silence, heard the sound of a doorbell,
Search for salvation, yet I sail.
I can't believe its gone,
I wanted to go along,
I shall come to it again
Though, never shall it remain the same.
Somewhere ahead in time,
Those moments shall I regain,
Everlasting peace may I find,
Relieving me of this pain.
Don't bury the sound of my voice,
Far too deep into your minds,
Maybe not today, but tomorrow,
You've got to make yourself a choice.
Don't crave for me all the time
I can't always be by your side,
Forever, won't I be watching over,
Thirst for redemption from my saviour.
