One Fine Morning When It Rains
One Fine Morning When It Rains
One fine morning when it rains
Come meet me there, that land forgotten in the middle of nowhere,
Come meet me there, where there is no one to despise and nothing to despair,
Come meet me there, in that magical place where memories dissolve, yet intimacy remains,
And in that place, we will watch the rain, or might as well get on a train,
And I don’t know where that train goes, but I have heard to a shabby home,
Yes, that old house was charming once, but with the time it has gathered dust,
It’s the house we have never seen. But it’s more familiar than any place we have ever been,
Yes, this old house could have been ours, but we gave up thinking it’s too far.
We might not have splendid wealth, but a little garden we could have had,
And in our garden, we would have sat under the starry nights and rainy days.
Now years have passed and things have changed, but may be just for old times' sake.
One fine morning when it rains
Come meet me there…………………
