My Wife an all Rounder
My Wife an all Rounder
It's been thirty-eight years since our
marriage,
Met as stranger's discovering each other
In the adventure of life
Sharing our fears, our tears, our likes dislikes,
As we understood the nuances of our lives!
Together in a moment of bliss,
Creating another life our daughter.
The role of a wife end, begins the role of a mother,
A mother of so many hues, Omni present
Through the years following in daughters
footsteps,
Caring, sharing, her daughter's fears as
mothers do.
A never-ending scenario of loving, and affection,
Now mother's role ends, her daughter
grows up
So many roles in a lifetime of selflessness,
Now she watches, her child a mother
herself,
Following her footsteps in nursing her
daughter,
A woman never sleeps till everyone has slept
A mother's role.
She waits without eating,
A mother's role
Playing different roles
Thirty-eight years later nothing changes,
She holds my hands looks at me,
Smiles in understanding,
For being there always, sharing and caring,
Nod my head in understanding.
So many roles A daughter, a wife, a mother,
And wonder in awe, God in his wisdom
created woman,
To show the way to Man, or else he would be lost.
