My Twin

How lucky I feel myself to be,

For sharing a bond; so eternal

With my angelic twin; identical

Which the world regards

We've known each other

Even before our entry to

This world; transient and mortal

Are the relations it contains

The moments that we've shared

From our priceless togetherness

Are beyond the comprehension

Of my constrained vocab

Very rare and fortunate are those

Who have shared their souls

With the body developed together

Unaffected by any befall

Two bodies but united by a soul

Sharing a connection; telepathic

Where words don't play any role

To express ourselves; whole

We craved for each other more

Whenever we were geographically apart

Our thoughts converse ceaselessly

Without any media; external

If I count my blessings of life

I count her twice

And thank God for

Sending an angel; beautiful and wise.
