My Dream!

With the heaviness of my eyelids,

The dream that settled in my mind,

Is just forcing me to sit and ponder for a while. 

A dream where there are Daffodils around me,

The tallest mountain on which I stand, 

And that bright sunshine on me!

The birds are chirping, flowers are blooming and the wind is dancing!

The dream in which there are accolades and diamonds around me,

But, when I touch, they fly in the sky away from me.

One day I hope to catch those diamonds,

And show them to the world outside,

For I know that those diamonds are real,

The world will know the real worth of me!!
