It was NOT a Tragedy
It was NOT a Tragedy
That night, sparked and glowed,
A flame roused alight
Heat and warmth incubated the air,
But it seemed a tragedy
The inferno rose up to our home,
and slurped up everything it could see,
favored we were, survived that day,
yet homeless, penniless we became!
All ruth were showered on us,
but was only limited to sad utters and words.
Our hunger seemed to feed on us for satisfaction,
and we were totally into dilapidation
Yet, the hard rocky street made us strong,
and we grew to reach the blues.
And now when they talk of our bygone loss, we tell,
"It wasn't a tragedy, it was a rugged ladder! "
