Traveller
Traveller
The beauty that contemplates the setting sun
Rejoicing hearts, sadness for some
A mixture of voices sweet and mellow
Come together like golden petals
A flower plucked from a distant tree
Separated, for a lonely traveller it has to be
Chimes of wind carry it to the waters
The journey restarts after a long wait
As it gets swept off by the shores
Rocks and gravels accompanying it
Making small talks at last for time to bid
Farewell, for a lonely traveller it has to be
Glazing sunrays give days of blue
Twinkling stars shine the night through
Clouds of grey stretch the darkness
A Millenium passes before it gets clear
The flower yet living seeking its way
Not far, just the horizon close to come
Limitless, for a lonely traveller it has to be
Resentment cannot stop its passage
As two of its petals split from the bud
The flower aims fuller to grow back in spring
It moves on, the water failing to make it soggy
Crossing the ravine where the sky meets the sea
Promising, for a lonely traveller it has to be
Soon the floral hue begins to fade
By that time it was too much late
Turning back only to find itself alone
Sorrowful gaze towards the horizon close to come
Unsure to make it there before autumn ends
Golden petals are all it desires now
Lifeless, for a lonely traveller it has to be
