A Songbird
A Songbird

A beautiful bird that stands under the sky
In a background of green, beauty would shy
Delighted feathers of ivory blue
The creator of this wonder didn’t have a clue
Don’t know how long my eyes shall look
Through amazing patterns and round shapes of green
A vision so peaceful, calm and serene
A symbol of chastity with opulences infinite
The aquamarine blue seems so bright
With a fascinating crown, it swayed and flew
Priceless jewels on its glossy arched neck, it never knew
Suddenly the enchantress got filled with joy
To pleasure its beholder, her wings that appeared like savoy
Fluttered a little and flew open in
a disc-like pattern
Oh this fairy appeared to have flown right from the heaven!!
Don’t know how long my heart shall admire
To the way it whirled and twirled, uniting everyone’s gaze
A spellbound shower of love and astonishing amaze
Dance a little more oh pretty bird
Then I shall feed you sweet jaggery and curd
Soon it is joined by a snowy white friend
Which came with its little footsteps to the garden end
Spreading its feathers of delight, it echoed our bliss
The celestial angels played music with their featherly gliss
Happiness is right here filled with affection
I didn't believe in magic until I met this spellcaster
