My Mommy
My Mommy
My mommy is the best-est,
Her smile so full and bright,
Like the moon’s rays shining silver
Lighting up the scary night.
My mommy loves me most-est,
She loves me more than life,
She’s the Leah to my Jessica
Here there’s no Shylock, and no strife.
My mommy is the playful-est,
She plays hide-and-go-seek,
And we seek adventure and treasures,
She lets me ride on her back all week!
My mommy is the beautiful-est,
Her locks golden and brown-
They ripple in the golden sun rays
On her pale gossamer gown.
My mommy is the silent-est,
And her eyes lay shut in sleep,
A soft smile on her soft lips
While everyone around her does weep.
My mommy is the best-est,
I still meet her in my dreams,
She promises to always meet me there
For now, she’s with Supreme.
