Curse of Life

He is a simple man, just like any other.

The difference is that,

They will die…

But he is Immortal.

An infinite life, to others

Sounds like a boon. Doesn’t it???

Only he knew that it was a curse.

A soldier…

Looking for salvation…

For mercy!

Having fought innumerable number of wars…

Having seen a lot of pain

Infinite number of killings…

Having suffered the loss of loved once,

Countless number of times…

Filled with pain...

 So much pain…

And nothing else but pain!

He now wishes to die….

To rest in peace.

And to get rid of all the pain,

And all the suffering

Once and forever!

All he wishes for… is death.

But he just cannot die…

Ever!

As he is cursed to be ‘Immortal’…
