Let Me Stay Inside

It is war going out there,

Let me stay inside.     

'They' are fighting with 'Them' with 'Their' help.

'They' are betraying 'Them' with 'Their' help. ‘They’ are ‘Them’ and ‘Them’ are ‘They’;

Life is threatened out there,

Let me stay inside.

They say, 'I am a free soul!'

They want me to be a part of herd.

They praise me for the mediocrity.

They loath me for being unconventional..

Freedom is shackled out there,

Let me stay inside.

They want me to change the world!

They mock me if I try to change them.

They talk humanity in the name of faith,

They loot human in the name of humanity,

Faith is perilous out there,

Let me stay inside.

They love them for the reason mundane!

They hate them for the reason mundane!

They crave for all the reasons mundane!

‘Mundane’ out there are the words of wise,

Let me stay inside.

'I'm in love with myself,' I say,

They would call me selfish,

And preach me to be selfless.

'I'm in love with the world,' I say,

They would label me a pompous and a showoff,

And preach me to be concerned with self.

'I'm in love with you,' I say,

And that is the biggest sin, perhaps!

And they would try their nerves out,

To make I and you separate!

Love is intolerable out there,

Let me stay inside.

While we play death out there,

I can feel the life, Inside.

While we love to be in shackles out there,

I can feel the freedom, Inside.

While we are so insecure to trust anyone out there,

I can, Inside, feel the faith alive.

While we are blind with the lust of mundane,

There's always some true wisdom, I seek inside.

While we see hatred everywhere out there,

I can feel the eternal love ever flowing inside.

Indeed it is always a war going out there!

But inside, I am at Peace…
