MUSIC IN THE SPHERES
MUSIC IN THE SPHERES
From time immemorial, galaxies and light years have intrigued scientists
They have tried to decipher the solar system with reason,
Science and religion, at loggerheads, have thralled theosophists
Outer space is a conundrum to all, wondering over the semi colon.
Black holes and shooting stars may be parts of quantum theory
We have always held these with veneration and exponentially.
Futuristic novels and movies excite our brain, stamping on memory
I tried to enjoy 2001: A Space Odyssey with reason and rationally.
When I look up at the sky above during the night,
I try to gauge the distance between the moon and our roof,
It is we, the humans, who try to measure terrestrial and celestial bodies in sight.
But can one, like me, dream to board a spaceship, in a way fool-proof?
Men achieve greatness by noble deeds indeed,
Scientists like Newton and Einstein had opened doors infinite.
