Ms. Curiosity

My life was all out of hue & was boring dull, 

the moment i found her, it seemed bright & colorful. 

There were moments of pain which i still do feel, 

Life began seeming beautiful after her reveal. 

Oh! Her grace was a flowing lake, 

It did take my attention & it wasn't a fake.

The pace she strode was a walk of cake, 

Captivated my senses & made me take a break. 

The chirping of the birds again seem to me an interest, 

As she gazed at them mesmerised by their movement. 

Pale wild flowers started to fill my heart with gladness 

When she played with them & let me out of my sadness. 

Neighbors whom I had avoided for long not aren't at odds, 

Thanks to her acts of melting their hearts & stirring out smiles. 

Kids I never knew are now my best friends, 

Her closeness is such that even the hounds aren't her enemies. 

Yes I was taking of the feline which is so feminine, 

It has been my strength after losing my lovely canine. 

Of the nature's love to mankind it's an enduring sign, 

I've been gifted back the life which I can accept as mine.
