Standing at the edge

Of the shoreline at night

Waiting for the waves

To touch my feet,

Making them cold

Like never before,

Giving me the tingles

Like how your whispers

Would make me feel,

I see the moon in the sky,

So bright and beautiful,

Illuminating everything with its light,

Like how you made my life feel,

Wish every night was this beautiful,

Like how it does now,

No sign of clouds in the sky,

Just filled with stars

Urging me to make a wish now,

It's so peaceful here, no noise to muddle me,

Nothing to interfere with the peace that I have,

Nothing to distract me from the moment I want to be in,

Wish you could be here to view this place,

Wish I could cherish this moment

If you were here with me,

Missing you is all

Stare at the moon
