Moon
Moon
The shape is changing but color pure white,
Soothing is its rays and called moonlight.
Half or full, it inspires every poet,
So many poems mention the moon in it.
Surrounded by stars it’s a delight to the eye,
As the sun rises, it disappears from the sky.
Orbiting the earth, 28 days for one course,
Kept in the place by earth’s gravitational force.
All the oceans are taken for a ride,
Moon is the reason for low and high tides.
For love bird’s night passes so soon,
Especially when they are watching the full moon.
