When I asked my son

You want to be a doctor or not

He told me in a firm voice

I want to become an astronaut.

I want to go in Gaganyaan

Which has to go very soon

I want to be a part of it

I want to touch the moon.

I told him, you have to study hard

This task is not so easy

You have to do rigorous training

And life will be very busy.

He said he will do everything

For fulfilling his dreams

He was very stubborn

To me at least it now seems.

He worked hard and studied well

And now he is a scientist

His name has also figured in

The members of Gaganyaan list.

Now he is going to the moon

So much stress he has gone through

His hard work has paid off

His dream will now come true.
