Missing

I have all. Everything

Yet I find a piece of me missing.

I searched for it...far and wide,

And yet, I am incomplete. 

I have my pinks and blues.

My black, green, yellow hues.

But, my whites and maroons are missing.

I have my brush.

My pencils, markers, paints and such.

Yet, my scalpel is missing.

I have my cold coffee.

My banana shakes and maggi.

Still, my appetite is missing.

I still see the rain.

The breeze, thunder, lightning and hail.

Only the wet grass is missing.

Of course, I have the songs.

I sing and dance all day long.

Just the thrill is missing.

I have a smile nowadays.

A 'hi', a 'hello' and a wave.

But of course, that hug is missing.

I do have my brain.

My heart, my body. I'm certain.

But it seems...my soul is missing. 

And time.....only time....

Can find it all.
