Memoir
Memoir
Blew off the dust, disturbed their slumber,
Giggles and cries, too many to number;
Innocent dreams invite a laugh.
Stunts that seemed absurd now a delight,
For a chocolate bar, we used to fight,
Ay, double the sweet, bitter in half.
Lost those days "I wanna grow up, right!"
Regretting didn't realize 'twas the light,
I write this too, on your behalf.
