Love That I Want
Love That I Want
Says the unusual corner of my mind
It's time to unwind,
Let loose and feel the muse.
Let the Love in the air
Breeze away my despair.
At times a moon can eclipse the Sun,
But it's not always dull and dark.
A rim of light, a ray of hope
Is enough for us to spring up and gallop.
In this season of love,
Let's learn to let go and bow.
It not only takes flowers of different hue
To make a bouquet grand, but some leaves too.
Even the Red Rose bears the prickly thorn.
It is our imperfections & dissatisfaction
That make us truly human born.
Let's vow to make peace,
Whenever at crossroads.
The paths that we tread may not be the same.
Different missions shouldn't imply fission.
The state of agony needn't last very long.
Let's sew the strands of life so strong
That no discord could break the chords.
Let the best be on cards.
At crack of dawn there be dew on the green grass.
With the bright, sunny sky
O chirpy bird, let's together fly.
Let this togetherness not be a transient urge,
But a reassuring wave with eternal surge.
