Learning For Life
Learning For Life
Learning begins in the womb
And ends in the tomb.
Struggle is in nature’s ilk.
We begin it first
As a new born to have the mother’s milk.
Right in the cradle
Starts the first battle with the rattle
To showcase the motor mettle.
Crawl, walk and talk:
Are the milestones achieved with divine spark.
Both our body and mind are nourished by the family bond,
To help us swim in the worldly pond.
School, in that temple of learning,
Discipline is the biggest earning.
It is there, where we wholeheartedly rejoice,
Grasp the social norms and prepare for the destiny’s ploys.
Be it friends, career or the other half,
The onus is on us to make a choice.
By listening to the inner voice-
What is that, which let us remain calm and poise
In the hours of hassle and noise.
Plan or no plan,
Is not the question of the clan.
Not sink but flow with the wave
To meet the end and be the brave
And solve the paradox in life with complete rave.
In this voyage,
Feats that are too little
Help us board that shuttle
To reach the next level on the stage.
Magnitude doesn’t matter,
We shouldn’t belittle life’s tiny chapters,
As small droplets of water
Make the ocean mammoth and greater.
So success isn’t that big breakthrough.
It’s made up of many stepping stones,
But knowing thyself is the answer to
Not pass them as unknowns.
When dreams don’t die,
Life will not be easy as pie.
But it’s worth every moment
That gives us a high
To reach the sky.
