Longing...
Longing...
Darkness dooms me in its mire,
I raise my voice for some fire.
My echo too silenced by the night,
making me surrender to its might.
Gasping for breath I look for thee,
only to realize there is none but me.
Wandering eyes seek your sight,
while they get no respite.
Lazing beneath the grey cover,
you play mischief like my lover.
While I shiver for your shower,
you quiver like one with no power.
How long shall you hide from me?
Knowing that it is harder even for thee.
There you lose the game of throne,
enslaving me with your crown.
Delighted by your grace,
I eagerly wait for your embrace
Your warmth pulls me out of the blues,
making me wonder about all your hues.
Wish there was no night of gloom,
But how shall my longing for you bloom?
