That moment when you 

Looked into my eyes

Blue veins of lightning

Struck the skies.

Thunder clapped in unison

As though in approval.

Two people thus 

Declared their love

With unspoken words

That night in the wedding pandal

Sitting in front of the havan 

We exchanged glances

Through the smoke curtain

Twas for a brief moment

But enough to signal our

Horoscopes were matched

Before our birth

By the Gods in heaven

These eyes have lost vision

Yours I closed with shaking hands

When the doctor declared you dead

But my mind's eye still sees you

Dressed in bridal wear

Looking out for me from

Your exalted place in heaven
