Life Complexities
Life Complexities
A strange thirst I felt, but the water was poisoned.
Drinking it would have lead to death;
Not drinking too meant death
This dilemma of drinking or not
For a lifetime remains.
Time said..."hold on have little patience"
Patience replied.."wish I had more time"
I get up early, set out to earn a living
Try to earn some rest, at the cost of rest itself
My skills on roads I display
While fate favours those living in palaces
Complaints I have many with you O life
But remain silent; coz. what you have given;
Many have not been lucky enough to experience
By the time I acquired enough wealth
Relationships had slipped out of my hand
Lost opportunity to spend time with my
Children;
And
When opportunity came, children were out to make a living for themselves.
O life with you I have many complaints!
