Last Autumn Leaf

Last Autumn Leaf

1 min
347

The moon hung over,

Those twinkling stars,

As I look beside me,

To find nothing but-

Your ghost.

My eyes glow red,

As I watch the last autumn leaf-

Fall off the branch-

Just like you and I.

You left me there-

Hanging-

When I needed you the most-

And now I have nothing left,

For you were what I called a friend.

For you were what I called Myself.

For you were what I called Home.
