Time Heals

I had always thought that,

This was the end of my world.

The fake smiles,

The phony laughter,

The pretend jokes and

The happy lies.

As the clock ticks,

There will be a time when we learn,

To accept things as they are.

There will be a day when,

The hurt will dwindle,

And the heart will be alive again.

Often the time is long,

But never the end.

It heals all, time.
