Lamentation

Are we living in a state of lamentation?

Or we are living in the pool of satisfaction?

Oh, my dear country.

Where are we going?

We are living in a state where the law of the land favors the big fishes. Misjudging the small fishes and burning their interests into fine ashes.

Oh, my dear country,

Where are we going?

The children of tomorrow keep on weeping and others starving. The giant on the land has no idea about the pains and miseries that we are feeling within.

I am perplexed because I believe the world is a big family. So why is all these happening.

This is my letter to you, my dear country.

Pay heed to my pity words and heal our suffering. The land is endowed with vital commodities but yet still we are starving.

Murdering and ambush have now become a common factor here, the freedom of movement is hidden due to fear. The ground of the land is nourished with partiality and covetousness.

Mending the expectations of the poor souls into stiches. The natives want to flee away, because they are afraid to stay. Lamentation is everywhere, terrific news is broadcasted here and there.
