A Broken Hope

This poem portrays a faithful Man who was in a relationship with a certain Lady. The relationship started well and perfectly, but the tragic scene occurred when the Lady broke the trust the faithful man had for her. Leading to separation. Trust is a factor.

She won my heart with her sweet, scented dictions,

I reigned in her territory as a King for ages,

When am half defeated, her words she said to me create a sign of victory,

Putting my opposer's perceptions into Hades,

I said to my soul: "Rejoice oh Heavens, I have found myself the right Queen,

Her tender voice awakens me every day, like the sound of a siren,

When things fall apart, she is my source of inspiration,

In the presence of her, there's no place for confusion,

She motivates me when my source of hope is burnt into ashes.

When the door of happiness is shut,

She is always there to confronts me,

Her words are as sweeter as the honey,

There are so many Queens, but my heart has chosen you,

My hope is broken into pieces,

You failed to fulfill your promises,

My dreams are shattered completely,

My trust in you is just like a furious lion without paws and a fable fangs.

Oh, my poor soul, my heart is broken by a masquerader,

My fragile heart awaits the one who will nourish my future.
