A Day Of Joy

This poem talks about celebration of a festival of a certain group of people 

This is the day, where friends and lovely ones who stay far away emerge together for a perfect celebration.

Sacred sacrifices are made to show a sign of appreciation, and the calling for the motion of an absolute protection.

This day is so special to us, just like an air.

It is where we can listen to folktales and we are always attentive to hear effectively, just like a hare.

This day is sacred and will always be, It portrays our origin and provides the reflection of our history.

This is where the throne of the ruler is sent to the riverside for purification.

To make petition and ask for a bright generation.

This is where several hands prepare sweet dishes to portray our culture.

After the purification of the throne, it is all about joy and merrymaking. Beautiful clothes are worn to create a sign of exhibition.

The ruler addresses his people and we give soft ears to his instructions. 

The sound of our indigenous instruments create a mystic rhythm.

And provides the platform for the body to dance
