Just Weekend Thoughts
Just Weekend Thoughts
The season fades in silence slow,
The rains arrive… and softly go.
Weekdays rush in hurried streams,
Weekends hold my carved out dreams.
Hugs imagined in the crowded air,
But empty arms no one there.
Life, they say, can bloom alone,
But hearts were made to find a home.
Kisses craved in midnight thought,
The kind that can't be bought or taught.
No messages, no missed goodnights,
Just borrowed smiles and city lights.
Watching love in others’ eyes,
Wishing stars in moonlit skies.
Smiling... crying... in-between,
Living what’s never truly seen.
People love, they care, they try,
They miss me too when I don’t reply.
Yet somewhere deep, a voice is clear
"I wish my person was right here."
To be held, not just in arms but heart,
To build forever, not fall apart.
To be the name they softly say—
Every morning, every day.
Yes, everything’s here, but still I yearn,
For a kind of love that doesn’t burn.
I want someone to stay, not sever…
To be my always
Forever, and ever, and ever.
