A Ride to Remember
A Ride to Remember
One message popped up— Meet me at your gate, With butterflies inside, I couldn't wait. Dressed in a rush, heart racing fast, Was this just a ride or a moment to last?
He stood there, a smile so bright, With his scooty ready, under the soft moonlight. "Where do you want to go?" he asked with ease, "Anywhere, just take me, please."
First time sitting behind, a nervous delight, Heart shining with thrill, hands holding tight. One on the scooty, the other unsure, His warmth so close— a feeling so pure.
A stop for pani puri, laughter in air, He fed me with care— a moment so rare. A taste of sweetness, a sprinkle of grace, Yet a thought lingered— would time erase?
The road stretched longer, he took the long way, A silent wish— let this ride stay. I fear private rides, trust is so rare, But in a moment, he became my safe air.
Turns and twists, my grip grew tight, Was it the scooty or him I held in fright? But oh, how precious, how gentle, how right, A ride so simple, yet felt like flight.
He dropped me home, but my heart stayed behind, a forehead kiss kept looping in mind. A memory so soft, yet etched so deep, A ride, a touch— a moment to keep.
