In the Garden

Early in the morning

The sun rising slowly

As the birds are chirping

And the wind blowing by.

Many people there

Some taking a walk

Some coming for a run

While some sitting on a bench

Enjoying the sun.

Some have brought their pets

Some, their kids

While some taking a stroll down the path

Watching the kids play.

Enjoying the greenery

Exercising in the fresh air

I walk in the garden

Taking a deep breath..

Starting my daily routine

I jog down the path

The sound so satisfying of the rustling of the leaves

As I take each step..

Feeling refreshed

I start my day on a positive note....
