I'll Never Know
I'll Never Know

I found myself in thought of us,
Of what we could've been.
'Cause, we had love; it wasn't lust,
The most beautiful I'd ever seen.
I try to wonder how did it all,
Flee, dashing away from me.
"In love", I said, that I would fall,
Now, I'm brought down to my knees.
The day I prove what said is true,
I'll come to take a last look at you.
If mine, I'll see you waiting there,
If his, I'll leave with my hands bare.
I wonder about the words you said,
The future of which you spoke.
I swear, I loved you with all my heart,
Your words; that heart they really broke.
I fell in love with you at first sight,
I never thought it would so die.
Body; frail, yet my love had might,
My love fell short, I wonder why.
