You asked if I'm ok,

You asked if I was alright

And I answered with a smile

Then I walked away and those thoughts of wanting to die began to occupy

I know I promised to try to be real, but when looked in your eyes crossed my fingers then I lied

I'm a liar

Its a part of me, I lie to myself and those around me

Creating a world based off a fantasy

Convincing them all to play along with the story

Portraying myself as one thing but deep inside lies

The truth, the real me

Something so dark that I run from it daily

Or maybe everything I said here was a excuse to justify dishonesty
