Hunger
Hunger
Wrinkles telling the story of age
Time stood still, from the last meal
Tic- toc gives a rhythm to the act
When body's hunger reached the sole of the soul
Swollen limbs as cushion for the bones
The ones which crumbles on every stroke
It's a joke of the cruel in a sadist play
Skeletons bulging in nature's fray
When food is transient and
The hunger is chronic.
The lifeless living leaves a trail of tragic
Not the deed of a moment,
It took years to be told.
When the indifference of us
Stripped the flesh off their bones
Our needs to wants reaching desires
Demand of new in the never ageing bubble
Some still stuck in the old the forgotten past
Where every deal of meal is a blood soaked clot
Waves of ruin, higher every day
Yearning for respite, begging for a single bite
Calling to the lord, the creator of mine
Have mercy on them, just kill them all
Thought is the worst, possibly criminal
Why give more breaths, do the cardinal
For once, show the mercy of all that is god
Have mercy on those the whole world forgot
