Haunted Presence
Haunted Presence
In the darkness of the night,
When all the stars are out of sight,
A chill runs down my spine,
As I hear a whisper divine.
A haunted presence is lurking near,
A ghostly figure that fills me with fear,
It moans and groans with every breath,
Its presence feels like a brush of death.
I see it move in the shadows,
As it beckons me with its ghostly glow,
Its eyes are hollow, its skin is pale,
Its presence feels like a never-ending tale.
Haunted by its presence, I run,
But it seems to follow me, never done,
I try to shake it off, but it clings,
A ghostly presence that never sings.
Haunted by something beyond my sight,
I try to escape into the night,
But the presence lingers, it never leaves,
A ghostly figure that never grieves.
