Golden Soul
Golden Soul
She laughs like sunlight through the trees,
wild-hearted, tender, free;
she carries joy within her soul
and gives it endlessly.
She feels the world in colors deep,
in every silence, every sound;
yet somehow leaves a trail of light
wherever she is found.
By a mountain window, she sits still,
while morning spills across her face;
the golden sun falls softly on her,
and fills the room with grace.
But beneath that radiant glow,
there are storms nobody sees—
quiet battles, restless thoughts,
and moments begging her to breathe.
She is a home for weary hearts,
a smile when someone needs one most;
she gives away her brightest light
while hiding shadows of her own.
And that is the ache of souls
as beautiful as hers can be—
she becomes the light for everyone,
while searching for her own to see.
So let the morning find her now.
Let every golden ray remind:
the light she gives to everyone
is still alive inside.
Let it reach her hidden places,
where the silence feels too loud;
let it whisper through her darkness,
“You are allowed to be proud.”
Because she is not beautiful
just for the way her eyes can glow—
she is beautiful for every heart
that feels a little lighter when she’s close.
She is laughter.
She is kindness.
She is tenderness and fire.
She is the warmth in someone’s winter,
the spark that lifts them higher.
And perhaps, beneath these mountains,
beneath this golden morning hue,
she finally looks into the sunlight
and understands what is true—
She is not only someone’s sunshine.
She is not only someone’s light.
She is the sunrise she is seeking,
still burning beautifully inside.
She gives the world so much light—
may she learn to give some to herself, too.
