By Your Side, Always!

Friendship is a vast ocean, where everyone is welcome to take a dip,

How well you hold on to it – totally depends on your grip,

Where race, religion, color, and age is nothing but a tick,

And social status, wealth, and lineage are never the criterion to pick.

 

Isn’t it a lovely feeling when you always have someone to count on?

For silly pranks, hours of chitter-chatter and sometimes just to pound on?

It’s an amazing feeling to have someone by your side today and forever,

Having a true friend for a life-time is such a great endeavor.

 

I agree, there are times when it gets tiring and exhausting,

That’s where I suggest ~ the golden rule of always communicating,

Remember! Words are better spoken and perceived, 

Rather than just thought in your mind and concealed.

 

In friendship - don’t let your feelings slide and be upfront,

For you don’t want to kill your friendship but the distasteful brunt,

Time spent with friends is definitely the most cherished,

So make more memories before time has perished!!
