GOD and Man
GOD and Man

I sing with happiness to my Creator,
Who transforms my sorrows into bliss.
I croon to Him who nurses my tired soul,
Soothing my troubles with a tender kiss.
Why does the heart weep in despair?
Has it forgotten the Creator who holds
Our broken dreams and shattered hopes,
Our distressed minds, our troubled souls?
He demands nothing in return,
Bestows mightily on those who earn
His stamp of approval, but ungrateful as we are,
We disobey Him and fail to learn
That He who ride
s on the wings of a cloud
Watches and monitors every act of ours,
Testing and examining our faith and fears,
Waiting to see us reach for the stars.
But what He finds is an ungrateful lot,
Aimlessly wandering in search of their goals,
Seeking things held back, forgetting blessings bestowed
For Man needed a reason not to be in control.
Where would Man be if he followed the Guide,
Who feared none, assertive and bold?
Man would climb mountains and scale towers,
If he dares to cross his threshold.
