I pay my respects to the Goddess Durga,
The fiercest of them all,
Revered as the mother of all beings,

The Goddess is eternal,
The Goddess is divine,
Unmatched are her powers,
She captivates every mind……………………………………………………….. (2)
When the devas were assaulted,
They rushed to Goddess Durga,
The only savior they had in mind…………………………………………......... (3)
The Goddess slayed the evil Mahishasura,
Her prowess enraptures mankind.
She holds us all spellbound,
Her aura is infinite……………………………………………………………………. (4)
The Goddess is dazzling,
Her charisma is rare,
She is the feminine shaktii,
That is scattered everywhere………………………………………………….…. (5)
The Goddess is magnanimous,
She pardons every sin.
As I sing glories of her,
She nurtures my kith and kin……………………………………………………….. (6)
