My Mother's Love

 

My mother is my strength,

My mother is my power,

She is an incarnation of the divine feminine energy,

My mother cried in pain for three long days,

To bring me to life in this time and space………………………….  (2)

Since the time that I was a little fledgling,

To the giant beast that I have metamorphosed in,

My mother nurtured, nourished and fed me with milk, grains and

Knead dough to make soft, fluffy chapatis to quench my insatiable hunger within……………………………………………………………    (3)

I admire my mother,

She has stolen my heart,

With her exemplary class,

And her naïve simplicity,

That sets her apart…………………………………………………  (4)

My mother is a master economist,

She reinforces values of saving every penny,

To sail through turbulent times,

That the future may bring……………………………………...     (5)

I admire my Mother’s strength of character

As she reiterates values of honesty, humility and being truthful in every

Challenge that may foray in……………………………………… (6)

The almighty God has blessed me immensely,

My heart swells with pride,

As I sing glories of my Mother,

They say, This world’s a stage,

All beings play their parts and exit the play,

As I continue to enact my role,

I can’t stop but adore,

Without my Mother’s unconditional Love,
