Mom and Dad, I Love You

Years fly people die

and nobody knows their last goodbyes,

I wish to turn back the time

to spend the loving moments of mine,

I want to stay in this world forever

and make each day special with my family together,

each day I tried to say the three special words to my family,“ I love you”

these simplest words are the most difficult to say

but now I have to say it to mom and dad anyway,

My tears run down everyday on my face

as I sit in this quiet and lonely place ,

each time when I think of you and need you here

I wipe away all my falling tears,

I am stuck here far away from home

and I don't want to be here anymore alone,

I thought that life is so easier without devout

but now I knew, it makes life full of fear and doubt,

My mother says,“your smile is beautiful to see, it can brighten one's day”

but now, I need your smile mom to be brighten again,

Oh God! do any miracle in this situation

I can't leave alone in this lockdown with the load of tension,

I don't know, due to this pandemic, whether I will live or my family will flow my residue,

but the last thing I want to say is “Mom and Dad, I Love You”.
