Get Those Days Back

Get Those Days Back

Marking our birth, holding responsibilities,

need to understand competition unknowing our abilities.

Quite early the facts are enunciated to us for our future,

and desperation gets deeper forcing ourselves to unwind our ages' sutures.

Being kids, we think our studies, our life and perhaps our school,

are just the mote of cruelty in our daily groove.

And the thought that adults always have fun around,

make us greedy to arise as adult willing to undertake some surprising bestowed.

Just we are eager to grow and hold our careers,

as such adulthood will oust all our studies' fear.

And consoling ourselves that our early life is just a dark survival,

of which we would get rid off someday ending our monotonous drill.

But alas! What we thought to be paradise turns out to be hell,

that period of career building and then responsibilities just dwell.

And never looks even a tithe beautiful how we liked to have,

with just clinging our heads in solitary and praying,

"Oh God!, get those days back.... get those days back."
