Journey By A Passenger Train

It was the pleasant morning,

And we decided to take on the local passenger train.

A festival had just passed and so we were made cautioned with an absolute warning,

That we had to hurry or we might have travel refrain.

As the platform was in countryside,

So trains waited only for two minutes, and the doors were not enough wide,

To hold the crowd for entrance and exit together,

But accompanied with harsh pull and push rather.

We had to rush for the train,

As it was at its right time and a minute late could have resulted our journey in vain.

Somehow, we entered and there began our cavalcade,

No seats were free and even place to stand was gruelling to invade.

Slowly, we moved on to go through the tough crowd,

Catching up the train as if was like a moment of proud.

We got a little more space than our own feet to stand,

But nevertheless, finally we got some part of its land.

The conventional crowd carried the items of festival having eatables and some rations,

And the other people, as I was, were on the roll to return to their respective workstations.

Two kinds of people were enjoying the ride,

One had hanging legs other had shranks upright.

Those kinds even talked in two kinds,

And people with triple number of kids.

One who were sitting either talked about poor trains, elections, cricket and topics whirled,

Or they held their mobiles with video playing and they were pleasantly out of that world.

But those who were standing, forgot about their destinations,

And just compelled their brains for ways to have the seat of their intentions,

They had nothing to do with railway's performance,

And even ladies with their emotional drama, tried their chance.

A lot of hubhub and emotional clashes happened,

And every possibility taken including the pulling of chain.

After standing for half an hour I got little place to settle me,

But many other's struggle continued, as I was able to see.

Going all the way to the city with village folk was an extraordinary experience,

But the crowd reminded me of some menace.

This population explosion is havoc in train today,

Is going to be cause for devastation on a certain new day.
