Fantasy
Fantasy
I still fantasize about you
The night we stayed up till 4 am
Writing the story you wanted to do.
That moment I knew if I ever loved
It would always be you.
I fantasized no matter how hard this gets
We’ll never leave each other like others do.
My bad it was only a fantasy that couldn’t come true.
I fantasized that we’ll grow old together
Even if we couldn't have riches.
We’ll have each other’s love
The greatest of treasures.
I fantasized to have kids with you
But I guess it was just teenage melodrama
That didn’t even last till noon.
I wished I knew how to make you stay,
The pain you were hiding, throwing it away.
You said you didn’t love me, I knew it wasn’t true
Because every time we looked at each other we
Smiled as everything we ever wished for finally
Had come true.
I know it was true, my love for you
As there’s no greater evidence;
But for the pain I've been through.
Or was it just another fantasy?
As there’s no greater evidence,
But for the pain I've been through.
